Accident that happened in Kayamkulam

ALAPPUZHA: A car carrying a newly wedded couple caught fire at 11 pm last night. The accident happened near Shaheedar Mosque in Kayamkulam. The couple was coming towards Kollam from Nettur in Ernakulam. The couple got married Monday morning.

Although local residents intervened and tried to douse the flames, their efforts were unsuccessful. The fire force team from Kayamkulam arrived and doused the flames. The couple is reported to be safe.
