THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: UDF convenor Adoor Prakash has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the chief minister over decisions being taken without discussions. Speaking at the press meet, Adoor Prakash said that he learns about decisions through media and regretted that he has been unable to respond to questions concerning the UDF. He said the chief minister takes decisions without any consultation and added that he would convey his complaint to the All-India Congress Committee (AICC), who appointed him as the UDF convenor.
‘Regarding Kerala, no UDF meeting has been held in recent days. As the UDF chairman, the chief minister should take the initiative to convene one. Since he has not communicated anything, we have not been able to hold another meeting. There are several things that has to be discussed and decisions to be taken.
As the UDF convenor, journalists often ask me about various issues. I have not been given an opportunity to respond properly to such questions. Whenever there are differences of opinion on various matters, will inform the leadership about them. It was the All India Congress Committee that appointed me as the UDF convenor.
People from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram often ask me about various issues, which is why I am speaking about these things here. As UDF convenor, no discussions were held with me. I am not raising a complaint about this, but I am speaking here because if I do not put forward what I have to say, people will start questioning me tomorrow. I will convey my dissatisfaction to the All India Congress Committee,’ said Adoor Prakash.
