Keep it weightless! IndiGo introduces ' lowest fare' travel scheme

BENGALURU: IndiGo Airlines announced a scheme to charge lower ticket prices for those travelling with only cabin bags. The scheme will be very beneficial for passengers who do not need to check in baggage. The one cabin bag must not weigh more than seven kilograms.

This entry-level fare, named 'IndiGo Lite', is for economy class passengers. The special feature of the IndiGo Lite fare is open to both adults and children. Lite fare is not applicable for infants, corporates and group bookings

Although you can book Lite tickets from today, the scheme will come into effect only from the 15th of this month. Passengers can book tickets through IndiGo's official website, app, etc. This offer will be available for direct services on domestic and international routes.
