IDUKKI: An assistant sub-inspector has been suspended for her Facebook post insulting the Prime Minister and Centre. Sajitha Salim, Idukki crime branch assistant sub inspector, was suspended on the allegation of illegally sharing Facebook posts.

The suspension order was released by Ernakulam range police inspector general S Shyam Sunder as per the report of Idukki police chief Dr A Nazim. Ernakulam crime branch deputy police superintendent A Prasad has been entrusted to conduct a detailed investigation in connection with the incident.
