Body of youth found in Kalamassery; Friend in custody 

KOCHI: A body of a youth was found in Kalamassery. Police said the body is that of Arun Raj of Tamil Nadu residing in Kalamassery. He had been missing for the past two days. The police suspect that he may have been murdered.

His relatives found his body in the forest near the beverages in Kalamassery Monday night and then informed the police. Arun’s mobile was in the hands of his friend. He later handed it over to Arun’s father. The police then took him into custody over Arun’s death.

Liquor bottles were found on the place from where his body was found. Police believe that a verbal dispute in drunken brawl may have led to the murder. Police said that some marks were found on Arun’s body.
