THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: K B Ganesh Kumar has responded to NSS general secretary Sukumaran Nair’s remark that those who claim there is no democracy can file a case. Ganesh Kumar said that if a case is filed, it would not be settled in Sukumaran Nair’s lifetime and NSS funds would be used to fight the case. He also alleged that Sukumaran Nair had given his grandson a job two months ago.

‘I have no intention to file a case. Mannathu Acharyan had said that case files should be avoided. If I file a case now, Nair will not conduct it by spending money from his own pocket. Instead, he will use NSS funds--the money collected by Mannathu Acharyan through the practice of collecting a handful of rice to fight the case.

If a civil case is filed, it will not be settled in his lifetime. In an earlier case, he used NSS money to hire a lawyer and got the hearing postponed 89 times. If he has any dignity, he should argue the case. Postponing a case this many times is disrespectful to the judiciary. If I file a case, my money will go. I am alone. Is Sukumaran Nair ready to spend his own money? If he is, then I am ready.

I will continue to expose the crimes committed by Sukumaran Nair to the world. Those listening to this should also bring such matters to light through social media. Jobs were given to 44 people. His grandson was given a job as a Plus Two lab assistant two months ago. Why was money taken from and returned to a private bank? Mannathu Acharyan’s biography says that a college named Sri Ayyappa was bought in Tamil Nadu. Where is that college and who is its present manager? Who are its owners now? Sukumaran Sir must answer all these questions. He should not evade them,’ said Ganesh Kumar.
