‘No power purchase at Rs 30; Efforts underway to resolve power cuts’; new power policy soon, says CM

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister V D Satheesan said that efforts are underway to resolve the power restrictions imposed in the state. No decision has been taken so far to purchase electricity at Rs 30 per unit, he said while briefing the media after the cabinet meeting.

‘An initiative called ‘Saral Kerala’ will be introduced to speed up investment approvals. 19 laws will be amended for this. A decision has been taken to establish two more NIA courts in Ernakulam. The Centre will bear the expenses for these courts. It has also been decided to create 18 new posts for radiographers in the health department.
