'I'm worried thinking about my child's future'; Suhail Sajeev's mother responds

KOCHI: Nooha Sajeev, mother of Suhail Sajeev (19), the first accused in the Mini Cooper accident that claimed three lives, has said that she and her family will extend full support to the families of all three victims. She shared her response to the accident through a video posted on Instagram. Nooha is also the owner of Iha Designs, a prominent clothing store with outlets in Alappuzha and Kochi.

"I am doing this video to share a few things that I have to say as a mother and a woman about the accident that happened recently. We have lost the lives of three precious young people. I know the pain a mother goes through when she loses a child. I understand that my words cannot ease their grief. Let the investigation into the accident proceed. The law must take its course. I want everything to be handled honestly and only the truth to come out. Only factual news should be reported," Nooha said.

"The accident is being widely discussed on social media, and I understand that people are angry with us. However, I request everyone to give me and my family some privacy during this difficult time. We are an ordinary family. While sharing news about this incident, please do not forget that I am also a mother," she said.

"I am worried about my child's future. At the same time, I am also grieving for the young people who lost their lives. I am caught between these two emotions and going through an extremely difficult phase. My family and I extend our support to the families of the deceased. Please remember that all four of us also have lives of our own. Keep that in mind when sharing news about us. We are ordinary human beings, just like you," Nooha Sajeev said.

Following the release of the video, Nooha has been receiving several negative comments on social media.
