'Need more context and information'; Ranjini Haridas to join PSC rank-holders' protest?

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Popular television personality and host Ranjini Haridas said she will have to study more about the issue before joining the protest in solidarity with the PSC rank holders. Ranjini, who actively took part in the CJP protest that led to the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, was often criticised for remaining silent on the issues faced by PSC rank holders in the state.

"I am constantly receiving messages asking if I will be part of the PSC rank holders' protest. I am happy to talk about it. I need information, including the background to the protest. There is not much information available online about this. Can anyone who is part of the protest talk about the current situation?' Ranjini wrote.

Many asked Ranjini not to fall for the bait set by Sangh affiliates as they fear this is a move to divert attention from core issues happening in the country. Meanwhile, a few others criticised Ranjini for being totally ignorant of the issues happening right in front of her nose while vociferously getting involved in protests happening almost 2000 km away from Kerala.
