NEW DELHI: The price of a commercial LPG cylinder was reduced by Rs 183 to Rs 2952. Meanwhile, the rate of domestic LPG price remains unchanged. The price of commercial LPG was reduced, considering the return of normalcy in the Strait of Hormuz. However, the price of LPG has not reached the pre-war level.
The reduction in the rate will come into effect from July 1. This will offer a great relief to hotels, restaurants, and caterers, who had to bear the brunt of the Hormuz crisis for so long. The hotels in kerala had to scrap many items from their menu while they also escalated the price owing to the Middle East crisis. It should be seen how the rates will be reflected since the commercial prices are slowly returning to the pre-crisis level.
