KOCHI: Actress Ansiba Hassan has filed a plaint in court against actress Lakshmipriya. She approached the Thrippunithura court seeking legal action against Lakshmipriya, her husband Jayesh, and the Thrippunithura Women’s Cell Sub-Inspector. Ansiba moved the court after the police refused to register an FIR on her complaint.

Earlier, Lakshmipriya had responded after the police rejected Ansiba’s complaint. She thanked Thrikkakara ACP for completing the investigation quickly and finding the truth. Lakshmipriya said she would not be affected by Ansiba’s allegations and claimed that she suspected the involvement of religious and communal groups behind the complaint.

She also alleged that there was an agenda behind Ansiba’s complaint and said the matter had ended in January. Lakshmipriya had further stated that she would file a defamation case seeking Rs 10 crore against Ansiba.

The Thrikkakara ACP had submitted a report to the Kochi City Police Commissioner stating that a case could not be registered based on Ansiba’s complaint against Lakshmi Priya and the Women’s Cell SI at the Thripunithura police station. Police also said that further action regarding Ansiba’s complaint against actor Tini Tom would be taken after discussions with senior officials.
