Two arrested with MDMA in Thrissur

THRISSUR: Two youths have been arrested with MDMA kept for the FIFA final celebrations. The two arrested are Sunil P S (31) of Kannampara S N Nagar House, Thalappilly taluk Mulloorkkara Village and Jishnu (26) of Kurakkattil House in Kannampara.

The excise seized 2.621 grams of MDMA from the house and vehicle of Sunil, the main accused. The stuff was kept for the world cup celebrations. The excise has taken the Enfield Bullet also into custody. Two electronic weighing machines used to weigh the drugs and 500 Ziplock covers to give the stuff were also recovered.

The accused were arrested by a team led by N Sudarshana Kumar, excise inspector of Thrissur special squad. An examination conducted found that the accused received many calls on their phones for the stuff. Sudarshana Kumar said that their bank accounts will be examined.
