CJP founder Abhijith Dipke under treatment for typhoid as protests intensify

NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Diipke has been diagnosed with typhoid. Abhijeet himself revealed this via a video message. He said that he had not been feeling well for the past few days and the test results confirmed of typhoid.

‘The treatment is continuing. I am taking an IV drip every day. However, I would like to thank all the cockroaches who are peacefully protesting across the country. Congratulations to everyone for making the protest such a big success. If we continue to protest like this, it is certain that we will get Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation,' Abhijeet said in the video.

Meantime, in the wake of the protests over the question paper leak, the Union Cabinet has approved an amendment to the law for imprisonment of up to 10 years and a fine of up to Rs 10 crore for the culprits. It is likely to be presented in Parliament on Monday. 47 officials were also terminated from the NTA, which conducts the NEET exam. The Delhi High Court has set up a special fast-track court in Delhi to hear question paper leak cases.
