The circular sent by the finance department to other departments says that strict expenditure cuts will be required in the next budget. This reference to the financial crisis is among the directions given for preparing the budget for the next financial year. The finance department has also given instructions to follow strict discipline, including cutting short expenses.

Non-plan expenses, other than salaries, should be fixed at the same rate as this year for the next year. For this, unprofitable projects should be avoided. Postponed maintenance and expenses should be avoided. These things can be considered later. There is no need to lay off additional employees when projects are terminated.

The decision is to consider the additional employees for future vacancies. For this, the departments should prepare a separate list. With the release of the circular, there is an indication that new appointments will be restricted in the coming times. It is also suggested that the revised estimate amount for this year should not exceed the actual budget amount.
