THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader Pinarayi Vijayan warned that the government's first policy statement will lead to the collapse of Kerala. Although 'New Era Kerala' is presented as a slogan, the policy speech does not include any programs to implement it. Pinarayi was speaking during the discussion on the motion of thanks to the policy speech.
Pinarayi Vijayan:
“There is a criminal silence in the policy statement against the Sangh Parivar politics and the central government policies. This is an attitude of surrender. There is nothing against the central government's stances that harm the interests of Kerala. A kind of political mystery has emerged from the very beginning of the administration. There is no mention of the government's welfare policy, strengthening the public health system, or whether the LIFE scheme will continue. The Vande Mataram issue during the oath-taking was a great misfortune. It cannot be said that this happened by chance. This was repeated in Karnataka too.
We indeed lost the election. It won’t stop us from moving forward, adhering to the development policy proposed by the previous government and the politics promoted by the LDF.
The LDF will return with more strength as it has done in the past. It is also necessary to examine how the Congress candidates came third in the UDF wave and in Nemom, Chathannur and Kazhakoottam."
