One killed in KSRTC bus-car collision in capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: One person was killed after a bus of the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) collided with a car near the Amaravila check post. The KSRTC bus which came at a high speed crashed on to a waiting shed after colliding with the car and another bus.

Though the driver, who was trapped in the car, was pulled out by the police and fire brigade, he had lost his life by then. The KSRTC driver, who was seriously injured in the accident, has been admitted to the hospital. The injured passengers have been shifted to Neyyattinkara General Hospital. Further details about the dead and the KSRTC driver are not available.
