‘No fake banana bunch to stop me, I’ve never feared you and never will’

KOZHIKODE: Minister K M Shaji responded to news of using his friend’s Range Rover as his official vehicle. The minister said that he did not start using the vehicle after becoming a minister. He has been using the car occasionally for several years. There is nothing wrong for using it after following the required procedures and that he had obtained the necessary permissions to use the vehicle, he said in a Facebook post.

His post said
To the CPM cyber warriors, former ministers sitting at home, and my regular ‘well-wishers’--I have never been afraid of any of you, and I have no intention of being afraid of you now. To the team that has entered the battlefield threatening to block me, I have this to say, any vehicle I travel in, if it is legally eligible to be on the road, will continue to run. There is no ‘fake banana bunch’ in my vehicle that can be used to stop it, his post said.
