Youth arrested in Kozhikode for selling MDMA posing as sub-inspector

KOZHIKODE: A youth has been arrested for selling MDMA after posing as a sub-inspector. The arrested is Rojith of Chungam Kallithodi. The police arrested him from Feroke in Kozhikode.

The youth was involved in drug trafficking by posing as DANSAF sub-inspector using a fake identity card. Police recovered MDMA, air pistol, handcuffs, and a fake ID card identifying him as sub inspector from his hands. His modus operandi was to pose as a sub inspector, seize drugs from drug dealers, and then resell the confiscated drugs. Police have also received complaints that he has cheated many people.
