CJP's Tiranga march

NEW DELHI: Police are forcibly removing protesters belonging to various organisations who gathered at Central Park in Connaught Place in connection with the CJP's Tiranga March. Around 150 protesters have been detained as police attempt to disperse groups of demonstrators and restore normalcy in the area. Meanwhile, Left organisations have called off their protest for the day. Left leaders announced that they would march to Central Park again tomorrow.

Earlier, before the Tiranga March was scheduled to begin at 5 pm, police detained CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke. AISA leader Neha Bora was also taken into custody shortly afterwards. CJP workers, along with Aam Aadmi Party workers and Left leaders, then moved towards Connaught Place, leading to tension in the area.
