The superstar is spending his birthday at his Chennai home, where the announcement of two new films is also expected. Meanwhile, a new picture of Mammootty that surfaced on social media on Sunday had gone viral, with fans praising his charming new look. One of the questions fans most frequently ask is how the actor continues to maintain his looks and energy even at this age.
The most important factor behind the actor’s energy is his diet. Although Mammootty enjoys tasty food, he always makes sure to control the quantity he eats. He follows the same diet every day. He avoids foods that contain excessive oil and calories. Foods that his body needs will be included in his diet. He follows this routine even during shooting schedules, regardless of whether the shoots take place during the day or night.
Many wonder whether avoiding rice is the secret behind Mammootty’s health. He tries to avoid rice-based food for lunch. His main dishes include oats puttu and fish curry prepared with coconut. He particularly enjoys fish such as pearl spot (karimeen), tilapia and anchovy (natholi). He also makes sure to limit the amount of spice in his food and avoids foods that may cause stomach discomfort as much as possible.
He usually has wheat or oats dosa for dinner. He does not eat more than three dosas. He eats dosa with chicken curry or chutney prepared with less spice and oil. He does not have the habit of having snacks in the evening. A cup of black tea is part of his routine during shoots.
