‘He asked me if I had AIDS, most traumatic experience was during car accident’

Actress Gayathri Suresh opened up about the severe emotional difficulties she faced while being in a relationship. The former Bigg Boss contestant revealed this when she was inside the Bigg Boss house. Gayathri was responding to a question from Bigg Boss during one of the tasks.

The question was, ‘If you get an opportunity to speak to someone who has hurt you the most in your life, what would you say to him/her?’

‘Many have hurt me. However, the time when I was hurt the most and experienced the greatest emotional trauma was during the time of a controversy in 2021. I was in a situationship at that time.I then thought it was a relationship, but looking back now, I think it was just a situationship.

I am someone who can easily identify red flags in people. Even so, I give them three chances. In the very first week of our relationship, he asked me whether I had AIDS. I then distanced myself from him at that moment. I then started thinking whether I was being too negative and continued the relationship.

I later found that he was involved in another relationship. I am from Thrissur and he is from Ernakulam. He had another relationship there.

During the car accident in 2021, the police arrived and took him to the police station. After returning, he left me in a café and then went to meet his girlfriend. That shocked me the most.

So, if I ever meet him again, I would say, ‘Thank you very much.’ I can clearly understand what his girlfriend might have gone through, because it was a ‘narcissistic’ relationship, and there was emotional abuse of that kind as well.

So, if I see him now, I would tell him, ‘Thank you very much for going and finding someone else.’ Otherwise, I would have had to suffer in that relationship. That relationship taught me a lot of things. I decided to improve myself and grow in life after that,’ said the actress.

Gayathri, a contestant on Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 8, was evicted from the show last week.
