‘Rs Five crore transferred from Guruvayur Devaswom Board’s FD to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund’; K Surendran slams govt

THRRISSUR: BJP State president K Surendran has come out with criticism against the government over the reports that Rs Five crore from the Fixed Deposit of Guruvayur Devaswom Board had been transferred to the chief minister’s relief fund.

Surendran said that Devaswom’s step was wrong. This money should have been sent to temples that have been struggling to light the lamps’.

He also quipped why the chief minister’s fund was not accepting money from other religious centres
