Chiranjeevi to do Telugu version of 'Lucifer' 

Telugu Megastar Chiranjeevi was in Kochi today to promote his upcoming film Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. During the event, he shared that he has watched Malayalam film Lucifer and has bought the Telugu rights of the film. Prithviraj, who directed Lucifer was also present at the function.

Chiranjeevi, who praised Prithviraj for his excellent work, also asked the actor-director to direct a movie with him as the lead. About his latest film 'Sye Raa', the Telugu superstar added that it is a dream come true for him as he always wanted to do the role of a freedom fighter.

'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, produced by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan, is directed by Surendar Reddy. The film also has a stellar cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kicha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamanna and Jagapathi Babu. The film will release in 5 languages on October 2.

Meanwhile, sources said that Prithviraj will begin the pre-production works of Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer, by next year.
