'Only Salim Kumar had that quality'; Chandu Salimkumar hits back against Vinayakan's diatribe

Actor Vinayakan’s latest Facebook post berating actor Salim Kumar attracted attention among the masses. Vinayakan attacked Salim for attending public events, not minding his ill health. and choosing the same venue to show ire at youngsters. In a post regarding the issue, put up by Cinema Paradiso on Facebook, Salim Kumar’s son Chandu came up with a comment, which has now triggered a discussion.

Chandu Salim Kumar:

“I once met Vinayakan and he told me how he faced neglect from senior actors in the industry. He even said it was my father Salim Kumar who held him close. Vinayakan even termed it as a rare quality of my father. However, the same Vinayakan put up a post targeting my father's last day.

This is an example of how drugs can exploit a human being. He is unaware of what is happening around him nor who is he talking to.

Those people who came there might have wanted to hear what my father had to say. Only people who went through the torture of addiction can help others not fall into the same trap. What is wrong with it? My father is doing noble work bringing awareness to people about the shady sides of alcohol addiction.”

At a public function recently, actor Salim Kumar fell down after slipping down the walkway. The video went viral on social media. Vinayakan responded to the issue and called Salim an alcoholic which triggered a debate.
