Prem Kumar set to become Chairman of KSFDC; G Venugopal chairman of Sangeetha Nataka Akademi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Prem Kumar, a Left sympathiser who served as the Chairman of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy during the LDF government's tenure, is set to become the Chairman of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC). An official government announcement regarding this is expected soon. Decisions have also been made regarding the leadership of other key boards.

Congress sympathiser and producer M. Renjith will become the Chairman of the Film Welfare Fund Board. Singer G. Venugopal has been appointed as the Chairman of the Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. Kalpetta Narayanan will serve as the Chairman of the Sahitya Akademi. The government previously announced actor Raveendran as the Chairman and actress Priyanka Nair as the Vice-Chairperson of the Film Academy.
