No one came to bail him out; 17-year-old ends life in observation room

KOTTAYAM: A 17-year-old boy ended his life in the observation room of the government children’s home. The incident happened on Sunday. He took the drastic step out of grief because no one came to bail out.

The teenager was brought to the observation home on September 7, over a case related to a theft at a relative's house and criminal background. Police said that he was produced in the court thrice, but no one came forward to bail him out.
