Young doctors held with MDMA; stored in bar room and luxury car

KANNUR: Two young doctors have been nabbed with MDMA. A team led by Iritty excise circle inspector C Renjith nabbed the two identified as H A Irashad (33) of Malappuram Puthuponnani Palakkal House and C P Siddharth of Sadmam House in Thalassery Vadakkumbad Kooli Bazar.

2.809 grams of MDMA were seized from the two doctors. The stuff was stored in the room of Sky Palace Bar at Mattannur in Kannur and in a luxurious jeep. A raid was conducted based on the information received by the excise commissioner squad.

One of the doctors held was a PG student of a private medical college in Bengaluru and other was serving as a doctor in a private medical college in Kannur. They told police that the stuff was bought from Bengaluru.
