Major fire in Delhi restaurant; 21 killed, foreigners among dead

NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out at a restaurant in the national capital on Wednesday, killing 21 people and injuring many. The fire broke out at the Lemon Green restaurant in Malviya Nagar, Delhi at 8.50 am today. Most of the dead are foreigners. The fire brigade rescued 37 people who were in the restaurant. There were reportedly about 40 people in the five-storied building. The cause of the fire is unclear, officials said. The fire broke out in the basement of the hotel. Various fire departments have reached the spot and efforts are underway to douse the flames.
