NEW DELHI: The deadline to apply for verification and re-evaluation of the CBSE Class 12 examination results will end tonight. Despite CBSE's assurances, technical issues on the website continue, and it remains unclear whether the deadline will be extended. More than 76,000 students have submitted their applications through the portal as of yesterday.

Meanwhile, uncertainty continues over the processing of re-evaluation requests already received. Reports suggest that scanned answer sheets handled by Coempt EduTec may not be used for the re-evaluation process. CBSE is expected to use its own systems instead.

CBSE has also filed a complaint with the Delhi Police, alleging attempts to hack the re-evaluation portal in recent days. The board said the attacks were successfully thwarted due to enhanced security measures. According to CBSE, more than one lakh unauthorised attempts were made to access the portal within minutes of its launch on June 2.
