MOHANLAL IN DRISHYAM, MOHANLAL WITH ANTONY PERUMBAVOOR

A few days back, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal confirmed his lineup of seven films with seven different directors. One of the directors mentioned was Jeethu Joseph. Since Dileesh Pothan, Jude Anthany and Anoop Sathyan made it to the list, not many eyes fell on Jeethu since he is known as a usual collaborator with the superstar.

However, it was during an event organised by Mazhavil Manorama that producer Antony Perumbavoor confirmed the fourth instalment of the thriller Drishyam series. Though the producer confirmed that the movie is certain to happen, Mohanlal hasn’t yet confirmed whether the upcoming movie with Jeethu would be the fourth in the Drishyam franchise.

In a recent interview with an online portal, Jeethu Joseph admitted that the producer was encouraging him to develop characters and a plot for the fourth instalment following the great box office performance of Drishyam 3. Though the director is not keen to push the sequel further, a fourth instalment looks likely.

Mohanlal will next appear in director Tharun Moorthy’s ‘Athimanoharam’. Meera Jasmine, Mukesh, Jagadish, and Manoj K. Jayan will appear alongside Mohanlal in prominent roles. After that, Mohanlal will likely join the sets of the movie to be directed by Vishnu Saasi Shankar.
