‘Bride isn’t smiling, marriage conducted against her wishes’; responds to criticism over actor’s wedding pics

Actor Jomon Joshi, who entered the film industry as a child artiste, got married to Ashna Andrea of Kanjirappally in Kottayam. She is a nurse in Saudi Arabia.

The videos and pictures from Jomon’s wedding were released recently. However, social media was flooded with comments and discussions claiming that the bride did not look happy and that the marriage was conducted against her wishes. Ashna’s sister Angelina has now responded to these comments.

Angelina shared a video with the caption, ‘sister standing sadly as mother says goodbye and leaves.’ She also commented, ‘Guys..I have posted videos of my sister smiling too. Please watch those as well before posting comments.’

Jomon entered the film industry as a child artiste with the 1999 film Puraskaram. He became notable for his roles in films such as Chronic Bachelor, Rakshasa Rajavu, Phantom, Sahayathrikaykku Snehapoorvam, and Cover Story. He is a graduate in journalism. Jomon belongs to Ernakulam.
