Goa Governor P S Sreedharan Pillai expresses condolence at Artist Namboothiri's death

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai has expressed condolence over the demise of renowned painter Artist Namboothiri.

"The friendship and bond between us is over 4 decades old. I still consider it an honor that artist Namboothiri designed the cover art for my collection of poems "Kaaldanam" which I wrote two decades ago. His sons Adv. Parameshwaran and Devan are my close friends. I got the opportunity to present him the 'Shankarapadma Award 2022' on April 19, 2022," Sreedharan Pillai said.

'Through Artist Namboothiri's demise, we have lost a talent who created several innovations in the field of painting. I am expressing my condolences on the demise of artist Namboothiri and wishing his soul eternal peace," he added.
