‘Keralam wins, Team UDF sweeps’; V D Satheesan responds after historic win 

KOCHI: Opposition leader V D Satheesan stepped forward thanking the people soon after UDF’s historic win in the assembly elections. ‘Didn’t you ask if there was anyone to bring change? Didn’t you ask who else was there? Didn’t we say back then that we are here?’ he wrote in a Facebook post. He added that ‘Kerala has won, and now UDF will lead Kerala.’ He also shared an image with the caption ‘Team UDF sweeps.’

The UDF is presently leading in more than 100 seats. The LDF is ahead in only 34 seats. A collective defeat of ministers is being witnessed across the state. In several places, including Kannur, Left strongholds have been captured by the UDF candidates. Meanwhile, the BJP has secured surprise victories in Nemom and Chathannoor constituencies.
