WhatsApp comes up with update; users can listen to recorded voice message before sending it

CALIFORNIA: Popular instant messaging app WhatsApp is about to introduce six features related to voice messages. The new update will make it easier to send voice messages and listen to someone's voice. These features will be available by updating WhatsApp in the coming weeks.

1. Out of chat playback: Users will be able to listen to a voice message outside of the chat it's part of, so users can multitask or read and respond to other messages. This feature is available on Telegram.
2. Pause/Resume Recording: This feature allows users to pause the recording of voice messages and resume the recording without interruption.
3. Waveform visualization: This feature shows a visual representation of the sound of the voice message. This way the user will be able to understand the intensity of the sound while listening to the voice.
4. Draft Preview: This feature allows the user to listen to a voice message before sending it.
5. Remember playback: This feature allows users to pick up where they left off when they return to the chat if they pause a voice message they were listening to.
6. Playback speed: This feature allows the user to increase the playback speed of voice messages.
