Fifth movie in legendary CBI series has a name now as makers release first look motion poster and title

Fans are hyped up for Mammootty's iconic character Sethurama Iyer even since the announcement of the fifth series in CBI series. Now, the movie has got a title- 'CBI 5 The Brain'. The title reveal video was released on 'Saina Movies' channel on YouTube. The poster features the series' iconic background score with Sethurama Iyer's iconic posture- hands tied behind the back. The title of the film is shown on the motion poster with the caption "Most Violent Investigator in the World, Sethurama Iyer, Rebooted...".

The fifth part of the film comes long after the release of 'Nerariyan CBI' in 2005. The first film in the series 'Oru CBI Diarykkurip' was released in 1988. Its sequel 'Jagratha' was released the next year and in 2004 Sethurama Iyer CBI. 'CBI-5 The Brain' will be directed by K Madhu, who has directed other films. As in the previous films, the script is by SN Swamy himself. The movie is produced by Appachan under the banner of Swargachithra. The fifth film's music is composed by Jakes Bijoy.

The film also stars Ranji Panicker, Saikumar, Soubin Shahir, Mukesh, Anoop Menon, Dileesh Pothen, Prathap Pothen, Ramesh Pisharody, Kaniha and Asha Sarath.
