THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: From now on blind people can stop depending on walking sticks to lead their ways. With the help of a pair of specially designed gloves, special android application and a headphone, they can move forward without depending on others.

The gloves with sensors attached to them are being developed by Neyyatinkara natives Saran, Nandujith and Karakkonam native Vaishak. The three have already made news by getting selected in the Social Incubator program launched by the Abu Dhabi government. The event which that had over 500 participants in the preliminary round saw the group's Nexart TechnoSolutions getting selected for the final round. Once the team passes through the final round, they will be able to start operating from Abu Dhabi on an industrial basis. The project titled Eyewey will also get financial backing from the Abu Dhabi government.
