MALAPPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan reacted furiously when the press asked him about the Social Democratic Party of India’s (SDPI) election stance for the upcoming polls. Anger was palpable on CM Pinarayi Vijayan’s face when journalists at Tirur quizzed him over rumours of CPM-SDPI ties.

To questions about the withdrawal of SDPI candidates in some constituencies and the LDF candidates saying they would accept votes from them, the Chief Minister responded, "Do you have any problem? I feel like you are hell-bent on disrupting this press conference. The question is based on your understanding. Anything related to SDPI should be asked to them, not me"

Would you say no to SDPI votes?

“It’s not LDF but UDF which are in bonhomie with such fringe organisations. It’s part of the media propaganda to direct such questions to LDF.

About PV Anvar's claim of CM favouring son-in-law?

Anvar is a motor-mouth who enjoys giving such rabid talks. You people need not come and repeat his claims. That is not a good trait of a journalist.

In response to the opposition's criticism of the Chief Minister's public behaviour:

Let the media decide on my public behaviour. There is no need for me to talk about it. It is not yesterday that I entered politics.
