Use of UAE territory for potential strike on Iran; Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies stance amid increasing military deployment by the US 

DUBAI: The UAE has clarified its stance amid reports that the US is increasing its military deployment in the Gulf region to attack Iran. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that it will not allow any of its territories to be used for military action against Iran. The UAE has stated that it will not allow its airspace, land or waterways to be used for military action.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that the Emirates will not provide any logistical support for an attack on Iran in the face of ongoing tensions. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the UAE's approach to resolving disputes through diplomatic channels. Saudi Arabia had announced a week ago that it would not allow its airspace or territory to be used to attack Iran. This was followed by the UAE taking a similar stance.
