‘I murdered my wife; she pledged gold without my consent. She also pawned the ring which I gave her. She will not listen to me. I have two children. They will not be sad. My wife wants to lead a luxurious life. All that was made has been destroyed. She is staying with her mother. I am living in the house built with hard work. She demanded this house also. She is going for some work now. There is no need for her to work. She is also a party activist, which I don’t like. Those in the party had supported her. She pledged gold for Rs 86,000. I don’t know what she did with that money. She later pawned for Rs 20,000 again,’ said Isaac.
