Police trainee found hanging in Peroorkada SAP Camp

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A police trainee was found hanging at the Special Armed Police (SAP) in Peroorkada. The dead has been identified as Anand of Vithura. He had attempted suicide the other day by cutting his wrist and was found lying in the washroom. Anand, who reached the camp after treatment, was found hanging Thursday morning. He committed the act after his colleagues went to the ground. He was B Company Platoon leader. The inquest proceedings have been completed.
