Nun found hanging in convent, suicide note recovered

KOLLAM: A nun was found hanging at a convent in the city. She has been identified as Sister Mary Scholastica (33) of Madurai in Tamil Nadu. The incident happened Monday evening at 3 pm. Her suicide note has been recovered.

She has been an inmate of the convent in Kollam for the past three years. There are reports that her relatives had recently visited her in the convent. The suicide note indicates that she was in a stage of depression. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
