Came from Delhi to attend baptism ceremony; car crash takes life of three-year-old Keith Thomas

KOTTAYAM: A three-year-old boy died in a tragic accident when a car lost control and crashed into a wall. The accident took place in Pampady, Kottayam. Keith Thomas, the son of Tinu and Merin, natives of Mallappally who had settled in Delhi, died. The accident occurred while the group was returning from attending the baptism ceremony of Merin's sister's baby. The car crashed into the wall of St. Thomas School in Kuttikal.

Seven people, including two children, were in the car. The cause of the accident is unclear. The child fell under the seat after the accident. Tinu, Merin, Mathew, Shoshamma, Laisamma and Kian, who were in the car, were injured. The body of the child has been kept at a private hospital in Thellakom. The injured have been admitted to Pampady Taluk Hospital.
