GAZA CITY: Israel has intensified its attacks in Gaza. Seven people were killed in an Israeli strike on a tent near Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where media personnel were staying. The tent that was attacked was located near the main gate of the hospital. Al Jazeera confirmed that its staff members Anas Al-Sharif, Mohammed Qureish, cameraman Ibrahim Saher, Moamen Aliva and Mohammad Naufal were killed in the attack.

Following the incident, Israel claimed that Anas Al-Sharif was a terrorist. Taking to the social media platform X, Israel Defense Forces stated that Anas Al-Sharif was a leader of a faction within Hamas and had been working under the guise of a journalist. They further alleged that he was behind the rocket attacks on Israeli civilians and military forces.

Meanwhile, the friends of Anas Al-Sharif shared a video on social media showing the 28-year-old continuing his work during the Israeli assault on Gaza City. 200 journalists have been killed so far since the start of the Israeli-Hamas conflict.
