KOCHI: Actress Ponnamma Babu has raised questions about the missing memory card that reportedly contains videos of women members of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artists) speaking about their hardships. She told the media that the videos were recorded by Kukku Parameswaran but were never submitted to the Hema Committee.

“Two cameras were kept rolling from both sides. She asked if anyone had faced any hardships and told us to share them. She said the matter would be taken to the concerned authorities and justice would be ensured. Hearing this, a few innocent women opened up about their sufferings. Usha and Priyanka had asked why the shooting was being done.

She replied that it was being recorded so it could be shown to those who needed to see it and understand what had happened. But later, whenever we asked Kukku about the video, she always said it was safe with her. At one point, she said she had handed it over to Edavela Babu. After that, there was no further mention of it.

So, where is this hard disk now? In whose hands is it? Now they are saying it might be with the late Lalitha Chechi. Lalitha Chechi was present at that meeting. May her soul forgive them. If she were alive, she would have answered this,” said Ponnamma Babu.
