In the interview, she spoke about an incident that happened during the shooting of her second film, Chandralekha.
"During the shooting of Chandralekha, I asked Nagarjuna to actually slap me so that the audience could really feel his anger, but he hit me gently. I always like to act with originality. He initially resisted, but on my insistence, he actually slapped me. Unfortunately, several retakes were required. He slapped me 14 times. In the end, the marks of the slap were clearly visible on my face. Finally, he apologized to me. I told him that it was not necessary," said Isha Koppikar.
Chandralekha is directed by Krishna Vamsi. The film also stars Ramya Krishnan, Murali Mohan, Chandra Mohan, and Giri Babu in important roles. The film is a Telugu remake of the Malayalam film Chandralekha, which was directed by Priyadarshan.
