MANCHESTER: The British fighter jet F-35B, which is stuck at the Thiruvananthapuram airport due to a technical fault, has gone viral on social media. The official pages of the Tourism Department, Milma and Kerala Police have been receiving a lot of attention for their interesting posts about the British aircraft. Now, a restaurant in the UK has included the F-35B in their advertisement. The Kerala Curry House hints that the F-35B is still in Kerala because it doesn't want to miss Kerala cuisine.
‘Come back, son,’ says the advertisement of the Malayali restaurant ‘Kerala Curry House’ in the UK. It also includes an AI image of the aircraft. The poster asks the question, ‘Why are you still staying in Kerala when the taste of Kerala is served at Kerala Curry House?’ The caption reads, ‘Take it as a joke — unless you’re seriously craving Kerala vibes.’ All the advertisements featuring this aircraft have gone viral.
The restaurant has posted another picture clarifying the context of the ad.
"The F-35B jet, worth over USD 110 million and known to be one of the most advanced fighter aircraft in the world, made an emergency landing at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport on June 14. It remains grounded at the airport, awaiting repairs after developing a technical fault." - The second poster read.
