Caleb Friesen, a Canadian, who went viral earlier for calling his country's immigration system 'corrupt', is grabbing headlines again. This time, he went viral again with an Instagram video in which he openly talks about his life in Bengaluru.
The youth shared the video with the caption, 'Why is a Canadian living in India when so many Indians wish to go abroad?'. He has been living in India for eight years.
His reply was growth, passive growth. Caleb, calling India home for eight years, talks about the personal and professional growth he has experienced here.
'Despite considering India his home for eight years, many people still don't understand why I emigrated from Canada. There are many reasons why I live here. I will tell you one of them through this video,' the caption says.
Had driven a bike in Bengaluru and captured everything.
‘Growth in India is inevitable. It's not the kind of growth you pursue with effort or tactic. I call this passive growth. It's something that happens only by changing your circumstances. In my early twenties, I wanted to be stronger, more capable, and resilient. That's why I chose India," said Caleb.
Caleb also explaines what he meant by passive growth in the video. ‘Find an environment that can shape you and help you on your life journey. That's why I moved to India. I knew that when I moved to India, I would grow without any tactic,’ he said.
Many have commented below the video supporting Caleb's views. ‘This is a new dimension in defining passive growth,’ one commented.
