'May God be with everyone, stay safe doctor'; Actor Bala offers words of comfort to Elizabeth

Actor Bala has come forward to offer words of comfort to his ex-partner, Elizabeth, in the wake of the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash. In a heartfelt Facebook post, Bala wrote, "I express my condolences over the loss in the Ahmedabad plane crash. May God be with everyone. I saw you on TV, doctor — stay safe. All my prayers. Bala-Kokila."

Dr Elizabeth is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Transfusion Medicine at Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. The plane crashed into the hostel where she resides as part of her hospital duties. Elizabeth was on duty at the time of the incident. The hospital received information about the accident around 2 pm yesterday.

Initially, Elizabeth did not realise it was a plane crash. She confirmed that she is safe but said the tragedy claimed the lives of many coworkers and friends who were in the hostel. Elizabeth has been pursuing her postgraduate studies in Transfusion Medicine for the past two years.
