Actress Priya Prakash Varrier opened up about missing out on big opportunities and the constant criticism she faced in the movie industry.

“There were people who predicted a big career for me. Some others advised me to not lose my personality to peer pressure from the industry. Some others told me to somehow adjust with the norms of the industry and compromise to survive in business.” said Priya.

The actress also shared her frustration at being rejected by casting directors and filmmakers without even calling them for an audition.

Priya Varrier has acted in a few films, including Malayalam and Tamil. The actress gained fame with her role in the film Oru Adaar Love, directed by Omar Lulu. Last year, Priya starred in 'NEEK' directed by Dhanush in Tamil and Ajith's film 'Good Bad Ugly'.

Priya's last Malayalam film was Mandakini, which was released last year.
