TEHRAN: India has tightened its grip on Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack by Pakistani terrorists. India is moving ahead with strict measures, demolishing the houses of terrorists in Kashmir who were involved in the attack that killed 26 people and injured many others, and asking Pakistani citizens to return immediately. It is now being reported that the central government has decided to freeze the Indus Water Treaty and not provide a single drop of water to Pakistan.

On the other hand, Pakistan has not yet officially denied the attack. Moreover, they gained a more cynical face, openly admitting that they have done many dirty works for the West and the United States. Meanwhile, Iran is ready to come forward with an effort to resolve the rift in the relationship between the two countries.

Iran has made it clear that India and Pakistan are its brotherly countries. Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said Iran is ready to intervene to improve relations between the two countries at this difficult time.

'India and Pakistan are brotherly neighbors of Iran, enjoying relations rooted in centuries-old cultural and civilizational ties. Like other neighbors, we consider them our foremost priority.
Tehran stands ready to use its good offices in Islamabad and New Delhi to forge greater understanding at this difficult time.' Seyed Abbas wrote on the social media platform X.
